The Asian American Federation will announce that it has raised funds to launch a coordinated Relief Initiative that will focus upon the various needs of the Asian American community resulting from the September 11th tragedy.

The Federation will release details about different aspects of the Initiative, which include: the opening of a community service center in Chinatown on Monday 12/17, relief efforts for the South Asian and Filipino communities, an economic impact study of Chinatown, and other assistance for community members in need.
